Hey there gang...it's like "full circle with a twist". First off..thanks Fireberry for intro-ing me to this place and thanks for sponsoring me. I am looking forward to "doofing around" with all of you. It's really not my story, it's His story in me that makes it all work. Years ago it was all about "that" when we rode. And now, being a pastor and all these years later, it's about ridin' with a whole new twist. Riding into a setting sun or a full moon rising isn't what it used to be. Riding in the Texas hill country and seeing all those horizons before me are a real blessing. In fact, the church we founded is called Horizon Church..."it's where heaven and earth meet." My joy in all that I do...riding, playing guitar, being with my family and friends, even here getting to know you, is all about His Joy in me. I am a "100 proof" Christian, but I promise I will never judge any of you or make you feel unloved. Please be yourself around me at all times and allow me the joy of being myself around all of you. God's best always...looking forward to getting know you through these posts and rides from time to time. Pastor Pat and Shelley PS...you can call us Pastor Douf and Doufette.

Prospect.........My-My things have changed now hunh?
First thing is you want to ride to the 43 in CCT? You ain't going no where till you find my tape.
Next time you come by the house you come with a big bag of Lay's or just keep on ride'in.
What you said today about bikers is petty true. The bankers who have the finest of all the Harley's that never see the road. The 1%er who live in their own world. The rest of us are Doof's. Pretty much sums it up.
You will find these guys/gals about as good as their are anywhere anytime. They are my friends.

Keep a close eye on Jeb, word on the street is he is palming the collection plate when it comes by.... :D
When you search his house for the ill gotten gain, you will probably find several cases of Lays Potato Chips and some tall tale of friends from afar that send him this stuff...:whistling:

Thanks for the "welcomes". I was glad to see there were no cries from anyone for me to cast the "spirit of doof" out of them or deliverance from Jeb. If there are any other "doofs of the cloth" hiding in the basement, let me know...in a private message if need be...I will keep that info just between us in order to keep your true identity unknown. Also...why not a "Doof Chaplain"? What do you think, Jeb? I had thought about siging off with "doof you" instead of "bless you"..but that could be taken a few too many ways. So...bless the basement and all who dwell there. Pastor Doof

Welcome to the forum Pastor Pat.
By the way, Jeb does a wonderful job of "walking the walk" instead of "talking the talk" and he's an inspiration to me. When I read some of the posts by him, Big Al and others from your neck of the woods I wanna jump on my bike and ride down there just to give 'em a big 'ol hug .. bless their hearts, they're such dOOFs.
When I read some of the things that the dOOFs actually post in here .. well, it's sorta like seeing a poor lost puppy on the side of the road, abandoned; a true Gazinta would never let something like that stand, we would try to set things straight. And so we have here. Anyone knows what a GazintA will do if someone (other than a GazintA) takes advantage of a dOOFs .... ummm .... innocence? naivety?
So, one question for you. Are you an equal opportunity pastor? I already know the answer but ya see, I have this problem. Try as I may, and believe me I have, there is absolutely no way that I can be anything other than what I am - a GazintA. I just can't think like a dOOF, no way can I act like one. Please, oh pretty please, tell me that you'll offer your insight to all who ask.

Equal Opportunity Pastor...that's me. HE never saw distinctions in those whom HE loves...and if we are ever going to "walk as HE walked"...then we have no room for distinctions either. Gazinta on, my friend...Pastor Doof

Thanks.
O Powers That Be .. since the good pastor is an EOP, perhaps he needs his own special color, maybe something glow-in-the-dark silver. I mean, it's cool if he wants to be a dOOF and all, I certainly don't want to get struck by lightning or anything, but what better way to welcome him?
Uh oh, it's gettin' kinda dark outside.
Pastor Pat, you know I'm just joking ... right?

God bless you Pastor Pat and welcome to our little dark corner in the back. If you make our little Doof/gAZINTa Texas Roundup I think it would be a good idea to have a "Blessing Of The Bikes". What do ya think?
