Need SERT download instructions

I've got a modified SERT file from the Kuryakyn tech in Mn that should reduce my decel popping but don't know how to download it into my bikes SERT. Anyone know how to do this?

Just so I know how much detail to go into, how much have you used your SERT, and do you know what map is in your bike now?

Better start from the begining...start by pressing the "On" button on your computer (after all your cables are hooked up)...

The map that is on the SERT right now was done by the dealer after the 1550 build. Even before the build and after I put on the true duals, I would get decel popping. I took my bike to another dealer and had it tuned and still decel popping. So I emailed my sert map to Kuryakyn in Mn and he modified it and emailed 2 different maps that should get rid of the popping. Since I don't have any instructions on the SERT, I don't know quite how to load it into the bike. I don't want to try it and goof it up cause I'm going to Daytona next week. It should be pretty simple I'm guessing but just don't know.

there is a pdf file that comes with the software
if you follow the directions you should be fine
first I would suggest installing the software on a laptop
cause you will need to plug the computer into your bike using a serial cable and the sert dongle.

Do you have a copy of the map that is on you bike right now...if so, it's no big deal to try out the other maps...if you don't like them you can re-load your old map. RK is right...the pdf that came with the SERT software is pretty self expanatory.

If you're still havin' troubles, there's a really good sticky on VTF that'll show you the way (I think it was orginally posted by springer). It should still be in the EFI section.

if all else fails you can just go back to the start
but if you don't have that file and if it is not a stock sert file
you might want to get it from the tuner.
