Just got a call from my Sister that my Bro-In-Law Jack hit a deer (8 point) at about 70 on his RK on his way their bike shop (Knuckledraggers) this morning....no report on his condition yet. If you remember he was the one who came thru for Julius when his trailer was recovered.

Thank God it was in Florida....kinda like a Great Dane with antlers.....not too big there.....

Ditto to everything everyone else has posted.
I had a buddy of mine hit a deer out here on Sept. 7th, he was doing ~55- 60mph. Totalled his '05 Heritage Classic, but as for his 'damage' just alittle road rash and 'ate up' leathers (chaps, jacket, etc.). He said that he learned out to 'roll good' and that is why he didn't have anything worst then what he received. He swears by the motto, "Fully geared up, no matter what the weather conditions" (it was probably in the high 80s, low 90s on the day of his meeting with Bambi).
Again, please let you bro know he's got a network thinking & praying for him.

Just talked to my Sis and Jack is coherent...but she doesn't know the extent of his injuries yet....he has some trauma to his head and face. Their partner in the shop said from what he can see so far the RK looks totaled.
