Commodores...great song...and a real sense for me on Sunday morning. For me, Sunday's really are different. They are quieter, more peaceful, just different. In the Jewish tradition, there day is Saturday, the Sabbath. A day for ending things and resting. But for me, Sunday is a day of beginnings. It's the first day of the week...it's the beginning...and beginnings are always fresh, new, different, peaceful...and more. Just about every Sunday morning I am in my big easy chair...a fresh cup of coffee...and my Bible open to Psalm 91. The first verse....the beginning...says that "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High God shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." That's not a bad place to be...especially at the beginning of something. That's what make it easy for me...easy like a Sunday morning. I pray you all have a great week full of His best. God bless the basement and all who dwell therein. Pastor Doof
