I stopped at Longhorn HD in Grand Prarie on Saturday. There was a big group of folks out front drinking beer, so I asked them half-jokingly "where'd you get that?". They point over behind me to three tapped kegs. Cool! Got a cup, then I went inside to get one of those screws that hold the outer fairing on (mine disappeared :huh: ). When I was checking out I saw a sign that said they are having a bar-b-que this coming weekend. So, I say to the girl, you have free beer this weekend, and free food next? Can't you have them on the same day? She looks at me like I'm an idiot and says we have free beer every weekend.

:doh:

I've got to start spending more time there on Saturdays.

Well, I'll be dipped in, er, uh, well somethin'. Free anything is is an anathema at my local dealer.

I went inside to get one of those screws that hold the outer fairing on (mine disappeared :huh: ).I think your screw may have run off with my bolt whilst they were together in that parking lot in Henderson. . . :whistling:

Longhorn HD in Grand Prairie has some great folks in their service department. They helped me out of a bind back in summer 2006 when I was headed to Canada.

I like Longhorns...i have a couple(just the horns)...i'll bet they have nice t-shirts...hafta try to make it there one day...
