I have an extra set of fork lowers that I want to have powder coated black.

I have been trying to remove the drain plugs and the darn things won't budge.....

I have tried PB blaster and that did not help......

Any ideas????

There is no way you could remove them to change the fork oil, they are just too friggin tight.

The manual states to use an impact driver. It worked on mine.

I thought of that, just don't have one.

Maybe I can find someone that does.....

Thanks

Local guy here powders right over the drain screws. When I asked him why, he said "I just pull the whole slider off when I do forks."
