If the Bears beat the Packers in Lambeau on Sunday, TT will enter witness protection. Trading Favre will go down with the Red Sox trading Babe Ruth as one of the all-time dumbest personnel moves.

No, and Rich Caster is gone too.

I don't know that the Packers had a choice after managing to piss him off the way they did. Is there a Pack/Jets game this year? That might be interesting.

No pack/jets game. They signed Rogers to contract extentsion, so no I don't think they are sorry. They are looking towards the future.
That being said, I would have liked one more year with Brett. But I am a Packer fan. There has been rumors, he called the Lions and gave them info, before they played the Packers. Who knows what is true.

I read about that Lions thing. But it was said that happens all the time and if he did do that it's very common. Frankly, if they's treated him right, it wouldn't have happened either I don't think.

Agreed - the Lions thing was much ado about nothing, if the Lions didn't know the Packers playbook after being in the same division with them for the past 50+ years, a few moments with Favre on the phone talking about hunting with Matt Millen isn't going to change that.
It seems like the Packers org is trying to plant stories that undermine Favre's popularity in Wisconsin to take the light off of their own idiocy in forcing him out the door so that Thompson could put his 1st ever draft pick as Packers GM in the starting role (to officially end the Ron Wolf era).
I had a pretty funny discussion with Bus Cook about the Packers organization when I was at the USM game a few weeks back. He thought it was funny that Mike McCarthy was talking to the media about Favre's head not being ready to play football and that the Packers train had left the station. Bus thought it was a good thing that Brett got pushed off the train since apparently it didn't have a conductor when it left the station :roflback:

Ya, all the teams watch hours of footage, of there opponents every week. I can't really see what anyone can tell new.
