I was stationed there in '89 and just stayed. If I moved, it would be to AZ. Indiana is too cold! I usually only visit my parents in the summer.

I live in Indiana, at least when I'm not living in Florida. Sometimes I wake up and don't really know where I am.

Nuts. I'll be in Indiana next month, but without the bike. Working trip. I need to do the 43 sign thing, but that'll have to wait until June.

Yes, Indiana 43 is sure a hot spot for excitement. From Reynolds (home of world-class eatery Solly's) through Smithson (with both houses still standing) then Chalmers (for a grand photo opportunity of the grain silos) and Brookston (can't miss the 5-seat sports bar) down past the McDonald's all the way to the sophisticated and urbane outskirts of West Lafayette........... :roflback:
Or do you mean the even more thrilling Indiana 43 that winds around the countryside by Bloomington? That one manages to miss every point of interest completely. :roflback:
Spent the night in Indiana once. Weird noises as I slept. Woke up with a cat staring at me the next morning. Spoky stuff man.

We Hoosiers do that to you Keystone people, just to keep you on your toes. Was the cat trying to steal your breath? Those are the best ones. :roflback:
I think the cat was trying to control my dreams. Little did it notice I was laying under a Harley Davidson cover. Cats have no power over H-D gear. I was safe.

Well, you still need to do that northern 43. Lots to see. There's a real, operating traffic light in Brookston, and the annual Corn Festival in Chalmers is a must-see. Elsie Ann McGillicuddy has won the title of Corn Queen every year since 1947.
