How difficult is it to hook up an amplifier to my Ultra radio?
The kind that mounts on top of the radio.
Anyone done it.

Kinda' depends on whether your amp has high or low-level inputs. I think if you go to Hogtunes or one of the other popular manufacturers' sites, one of them will have instructions to download.

There's a couple different companies that make amps for motorcycle radios. They should come with everything you need. Mounting hardware, and a wiring harness, and instuctions.

Make sure you get the right amp. The '06 and up radios have 2 ohm output which is not typical. If you're getting the amp from Pez, it should be plug-n-play

They told us over and over to wear them headsets. I didn't do it till it was almost too late. Bullet proof (I thought).
