The plan for leaving is MEET AT HORNROCKERS (THAT'S ME) LEAVE HORNROCKER'S BETWEEN 8 AND 8:30 AM FOR ES
(Stoney may, or may not be drunk)

Ruth and I plan to leave Friday morning and take 3 days to follow the Mississippi back home.

We are leaving Round Lake at 6:30 AM, arrive at Horncocker's a bit before 8:00. Assuming we leave at 8:30....

Direct route 55 to 44 = 5.5 hours / 357 miles

-or-

55 to 70 to 19 South = 7 hours / 400 miles
add 1.5 doof hours and we could arrive around 5PM

another 1.5 hours tells you how nice of a ride hwy 19 is!

Toots and I are leaving our house Saturday at 6:00 am. We arn't going to stop at Marks. We are going to head straight down RT59 to I55, thru STL to I44 on to Cuba exit, then MO19 south to Steelville. We will probably stop for a sit down lunch. Plan on getting to Steelville by 2 or 3pm. Take a nap then head out for some BBQ at 5pm. Back to the B&B for cocktail hour.
We do roll 75 plus mph on the big roads.
Probably head home Friday, dependeing on the forcast, and stop in Cuba MO Friday night.

My plans are still up in the air for the ride back. I'm debating stopping in Memphis and stay overnight with my parents since I'm not too far away.

Take 19 south from Cuba, MO instead of the direct route. You won't regret it.
