When you break off a bolt...THEN the extractor

Got it out...er, a...off

Now that (I think) I have your attention, I'd like to say hello! I stumbled across the forum across the street when the DC's were coming into their own. To me, it hasn't been the same since...or no, now it is the same...I can't keep it straight.

Anyway, I used to refer to 8-ball's bike pic's and painstakingly detailed descriptions of his mods via the link in his signature over there. In case you haven't noticed, he changed it. PM'ed him the other night and he mentioned this place. I'm glad he did. :thankssign:

First bike - ***** MR50 at 9. Then did RM's, three wheelers and even an Odyssey. At the time, my father had a CB750-4, then a Gold Wing. Eventually, he got out of riding - and so did I. He has since retired and picked himself up an '05 FXDL. Being the good son (I think) I am, thought I'd get back into riding too (this time legally on the road) - to keep him company, of course.

By some strange twist of fate (and two kids), I find myself, at times, behind the wheel of another Odyssey - this one with sliding doors. Wish they'd bring back the trigger throttle and brake...

:Welcome: RK..........

I really don't like those tapered spiral screw extractors for small stuff...while twisting them in, they actually expand the screw, making it tighter against the threads...JMO

Next time, just place a propane tank under the bolt you wish to remove, and shoot it...Just ask, this is the preferred method for taking care of things.

Welcome to the mix...it's currently set on puree.

The propane method should only be handled by a professional.

Preferrably one who remembers his ammo...

Just sayin'...

Oh yeah, welcome aboard!!

Welcome to the place across the street and down the secret stairs.

Here is the side door for friends of Mr. 8-Ball.

Screw extractor lessons available in the appropriate thread.

Dig in and enjoy the DooF action
