1. I wear gloves while riding
2. I don't wear gloves while riding
3. I'm a badass, I don't need no stinking gloves
4. I had my fingerprints removed
If I knew how, I'd post a poll.

Your fingers are very sensitive, road rash there hurts just about as bad as anywhere, well almost anywhere.

i've got 3 pair...harley gauntlets for when it's so cold that any one with any common sense would not be out riding. a pair of HD light weight full finger leather ones. the ones i wear almost all of the time though are a pair of oakley mt bike gloves that i got from their military distributor. they're kevlar on the palm and fingers, with carbon fiber on the back of the knuckles. so not only are they functional, but they look cool as hell.

Seeing I ride all year long, life in Yankee land and it's 30 degrees out...I wear gloves.
In the winter at least.
I also wear men's boxer briefs.
Still trying to get the tobacco stains out of my shorts. I quit smoking a year ago and still getting the stains.

Full gloves here; perforated in summer. If it's below 35 I wear a pair of thin silk gloves under, and Fox Creek elk gauntlets over. Layering is a wonderful thing.

OK, being the smart @ss that I am, I voted that I had my fingerprints removed, BUT, really I always wear gloves. Usually half gloves with mesh tops so I don't get those dorky brown tan circles on my knuckles and the tops of my hands...
I remember riding without them one hot day here on the island, and my hands got so slippery from sweat that I had a hard time working the clutch and brake levers...

when it's warm, i like those new HD perforated washable gloves...
I picked up a pair last year in Florida because the leather ones were killing me and use them from March to October. Best gloves I've had to date, and didnt know they were washable at first.
I dont think they make them anymore though, wish I had a second pair, these will wear out soon enough.

I wear these gauntlets in cold months:

And Harley perforated full finger gloves when it's warm. Tried without gloves once and didn't feel like I had a real good grip on the chrome grips. :boxing2:
