so to keep this short....I noticed the belt was very loose.. and called another shop that I found about a month ago... they said have it here by 2pm.... I took it in and the mechanic shook his head.... the adjustment shim/washer?? (not sure of the technical term) on the right side was on backwards and the tire was out of alignment. It was no wonder everytime I throttled up out of a turn it wanted to wash out on me. The belt was slapping the tire leaving the black marks on the white wall. When I got back home on Sat. I checked the tread depth on the rear tire.... was already in the yellow on the Harley guage.... needless to say on Tuesday going to call the 1st place and bitch a little, ok a lot.... I dont trust stealers but it sure is hard to find someone who can do the job right...hopefully this new place will work out...only charged me 20 dollars for the belt adjustment and they adjusted the clutch as well..............

For tires I use Cycle Outfitters, South Madison avenue. 20 bucks mounting (30 for the rear on baggers, I think) if you bring the bike in.
