,,,my first ride was a "68 Sporty, put together with parts from various locations, hardtail. Moved from that to a 79 Sporty. Unfortunately I don't have any pics of those two. Here's my first big twin. which by the way is how my screen name came to be.

'83 FXE Superglide (Bought in "84, Taken at the reenlistment of a friend - Ft Hood Texas)

Same bike, a few months later in Osan, Korea.

My next V-Twin was a '90 FXR Low Rider (bought year end from AFEES)

Both shots in Korea, this one from my last ride in country before retiring. This is less than a mile from the DMZ.

Good shots, Frank. I had a '75 FX. Really like the old Super Glide peanut tanks.

No there wasn't, I met a couple Korean gentlemen that were in the process of trying to get one started. They did run several smaller shops around Seoul and Osan. Not sure if these are the folks that open a dealership there.

Is that green and orange one, in the first pic behind, the model they made with the fringed saddlebags? I think they made those in '78..a friend bought one new.

I believe so Gray, but i think it's later than 78, limited number, i think it was called a Heritage ElectraGlide.

I also noticed the Sturgis.

Yep, Not sure of the name but you're both right, it was the one with the frilly bags and an ElectraGlide. It was a '80 or '81 not sure. Dude sold it for a Wing!

Yes that's a Sturgis in the pic also. Last time we spoke (2 years ago) he still had it.
