1. Is it plain or does HD have their logo on it?
2. Nylon, Poly, cotton?
3. How much?
3. full open face or just the eyes?

Try here (http://www.rei.com/search/balaclava?cm_mmc=ps_google-_-Snowsports-_-Ski_Apparel-Hats-_-balaclava), they offer a number of options. Also, I would try any ski store, they usually carry a number of different styles.

Hey Scabby.....how's it goin' man? Have you tried any of them? Thats the million dollar question. I was hoping I would'nt have to buy 2 or 3 before I found the one that was the warmest.....savy

I have an older one from Serius made out of Thermax which is a lightweight polyester material. It's thin and does a pretty good job when worn under a helmet. If you're looking for something to wear without a helmet, I would recommend one made from polarfleece and preferably one made from the newer Polartec "Windbloc" material. Not only is it a nice warm fleece but it is excellent at blocking the wind. Again, there are several options listed at the link I posted and I would check any local ski shops as well.

Angle, I have one that I got from an ebay store. It wasn't expensive and works well. I used it when I did the 43 Ride w/ Scabby, and man was I glad I had it! When I get home I can check the brand for ya (as long as I remember of course). I also use it when I'm plowing snow with the tractor.

Yeah, thats the ticket. I looked on ebay but did'nt trust them. I only have a couple bucks for one and dont want to make a mistake.
With this C thing, I get cold much quicker than I use to. My fingers are always freezing, even in the house.

If your fingers are cold, suggest ski gloves here as well, they're a whole lot warmer than most motorcycle gloves. That's what I use. You can also get polypropolene/Thermax glove liners. They really help as well.

Drove around looking at the sporting goods stores. No one had them in stock. Went to Electric City Harley and bought the one with the little HD logo patch on it. Damn thing was priced $28 bucks.
Had to shrink it a little in the wash and then went out for a ride. It worked very well. My finger tips still froze tho. The logo patch somehow disappeared.:whistling:
BTW......every sales person I talked to gave me the double look when I said "Balaclava".:roflback: They all thought I had said Baclava

You can one at snowmobile dealer or Dennis Kirk.
I wouldn't worry about getting the best you can or the warmest. You are going to have a helmet over it. I wear one snowmobiling, in less then 0 temps, just some cheap one I picked up somewhere.
Don't put to much thought into this.
I have never worn one a bike though. But for me when it gets less then 30, there is usaully to much ice and snow. I usually just wear a bandana. I jsut bought leather bandada, fleece lined, $8, from DK, love it.

This is driving me nuts!! No one else was home all day except my dog. Now, she is in season (no u doofs cant touch her). I wonder if she cud have eaten it or stashed it somewhere thinking it was a puppy.
