I've still got about 80 scripts to fix, but it seems faster to me... by a damn sight.

Any problems?

Seems to be responding nicely right now Mike. Maybe once some more doof load shows up it may change, but for now all is well here!

The email alerts that I get saying that someone replied to a tread I am subscribed to still takes me to an 404 error page. :huh:
I had to change the link in my favorites as well, but all in all it is more zippy than snappy. :D

Jams... that may resolve once the DNS takes over... should be today sometime... I think 404 is mostly DNS... keep tabs on it and let me know once we aren't on the temporary URL any longer.

If the URL of the address giving you a 404 message has doofclenas.com in it, it will give you an error for now.

For me to get here I had to go to --> http://www.doofclenas.com/DoofClenas/Home.html

and then click forums because all the email replied threads messages I have been getting all day have been the 404 errors..
So in other words there maybe a few missing souls out there going through withdraws right now not being able to find their way here like I did.

Seems much faster to me. I'm used to be a programmer but outsourcing forced me into my present career. I still keep up with it thought if you need a hand with a bug or something I'll see if I can help.

The ping times to the new server are about 10ms higher than last week. I tested both from home and work, times were the same even though they start on two networks.

However the page load times seem much quicker. I'm not sure whether it's more bandwidth at the new place or (more likely) less clients per server giving you more processor time to yourself.

Either way it's a noticeable change. Good job and thank you.

I can't tell about the speed, but I'm using the very latest Mozilla "Seamonkey" and the smilies still extend out to the right under the sponsor logos.:huh:

Using Firefox, http://www.doofclenas.com/forums/ takes me to a page with a link that says "Doof Clenas MC Forums.... just click it!!!" When I click that link it takes me to http://69.89.27.228/~doofclen/forums/

Switched to Safari and http://www.doofclenas.com/forums/ takes me to
