Does anybody know who makes a tour pak relocation kit for an 09 Classic with a rigid mount? I looked at Kuryakyn, and they have one for 98-2008, and another for 2010 and up, but nothing for an 09. I want to give the missus a bit more room, and this would be a good way. Any help would be appreciated.

Call and ask them WTF. I thought the new ones allowed relocation stock, though.

They can move 1" back in their stock form. I need another 2". I might look and see if I can move it and re drill the mounting holes.

Would have thought that the '09 and '10 would be the same.

My early Kury broke. The later ones have reinforcing brackets that are very much needed. I don't think I'd chance it. Kury's attention to detail on instructions is for shit, so they probably just screwed up the years. I'd call them.

The kit for the '10 is for detachable tour paks only. :badmood:

The guy I'm ordering parts from has been trying to reach Kuryakyn all day, with no luck so far.

Went down this road a few years ago, needed 2" or so. Relocation kit for a '95 was $150. Thought, "screw that" and got some 1/16"x2" stainless strap, a few matching carriage bolts, had drill and bits, spent 1 hour and viola, could relocate from 1"-3" in three sets of holes. Piece o' cake, and about $10 in materials.

I thought about getting one of those, but Dana already complains about having too much room back there.
Danged if I can understand that, but such is my lot in life.

She likes to cozy up to you. What could be wrong with that?
