just replaced the 3-way valve on the pool pump. hope there's no leaks...at least on the suction side.:pray:

changin out the whole filter tomorrow if it gets here early enough.:whistling:

now i'm sittin here peelin the pvc glue off my fingers.:coffee:

That's what those little application brushes are meant to prevent. :Poke:

Buy some cheap jersey gloves, buck a pair and throw em away when your done.

For me, that purple primer has always been the problem. That crap goes everywhere and stains. :whistling:

i use the oatey "clear" cleaner...makes the job purdier when you're done.:whistling:

valve's in and no leaks...:woohoo:

got the new filter delivered last night and will start the install after a trip to lowes for some 2" fittings.:coffee:

filter's done and the increased flow is awesome.:woohoo:

as soon as i run out of chlorine tabs i'll install the salt turbo cell and get away from the chlorine crap.:whistling:

Post up how that goes. My neighbor on the hit went salt a few years back cuz his family never treated the pool while he was out of town. :doh:
