This morning while I was reading the Word and enjoying my coffee I kept thinking of all the reasons people don't go to church. It seems that whenever I ask people about where they attend the normal response is, "I would go to church, but...." But...it's all about money...I am too tired...I don't understand all that religious stuff...I don't care for the preacher...the music is too loud...and on and on. In all of that I thought to myself, "God, help those people get their "buts" to church. For me personally, I love that little three letter word, "but". So many times in the Bible it says something about how bad it was...how strong the enemy was...how terrible the storm was...and it seems no matter how bad it is....the next two words are "but God". I can't tell you how often it has looked bad in my life, "but God" was always there. So I kind of figured that if people would get their "buts" to church...then they could get God's "but" in their life. So the next time you hear someone say they would go to church, but...you might share this with them so they will get their "buts" to church. God's best to you all week long.

You forgot the natural excuse this Sunday, "I forgot to set my clock last night!"

But God
(Ron Winan Family & Friends IV)

By grace are we saved
Because of Him who rose from the grave
Not a deed that we’ve done
To deserve the gift of His Son
Yes I know where I would be
If He had not died for me

See, some of you were liars (But God, But God)
And some of you were haters (But God, But God)
See, some of you were deceivers (But God, But God)
Oh my
(If it’s a road of bondage and sin that you trod)
Well now
(Don’t give up so did I, but God)

So trust what I say
Oh tonight you can receive His love today
Mmm, if you’re here and you’re lost
Oh, know that Jesus paid the cost
At the cross between two thieves
Ask of him, Lord remember me

Now, some of you were backbiters (But God, But God)
And some of you were mistreated (But God, But God)
Hey, some of you were streetwalkers (But God, But God)
Oh, (if it’s a road of bondage and sin that you trod)
Well now
(Don’t give up so did I, but God)

Don’t give up
Don’t give in
But God!~

So God loves our dumb but(ts).

Why olny worship on Sunday?
Y not everyday.:Tonya:
I have know the Lord since I
excepted him as my savior at
10 yrs of age. I was 38 when
I was placed by the holy spirit
in a fellowship of teaching the
word (not preaching) I knew I
was home, with a family to worship
with at peace finally.
No one making me feel guilty about
being in an unredeemed body.
Filling me with the word.
That was so amazing, still is.
A teaching pastor
Not a preaching pastor.

"revitup"...it's all about the Word..it either is or isn't...I believe it is. In fact, once upon a time we use to say,"God said it, that settles it, and I believe it." Best day of my life stepping out of the gray and into the black and white of the Word. It's all good. amen!

Pastor Pat; You are so right. It is ALL about the word.
So the word should be taught.
So many churches do not equip their saint to go teach.
That is the difference in teaching and preaching.
I love to be taught and to learn is the joy of knowing my Lord
Jesus is to learn His ways which are the Fathers way.
