I'm thinking about getting the saddlebag lids repainted and a few other scuffs here and there touched up.
The painter that I will be using is a kick-ass pin striper as well. I'm thinking a little bit of color might be a nice addition.
Whatcha think?
Yes or No?

Is it required to have a "little black dress" when you own a basic black bike?

Yep, pinstriping will make DaSkoot just a little more fine....
Been ponderin' the same thing for my motor.
I think I'm gonna go with the following color combo...

If done right, I think it'd look good, and be a little different to boot.

That's funny, Ken. I was thinking about a burnt orange and a creamy white. I like all of the suggestions so far.
Mike, thanks for the tip....http://www.texefx.com/

My sister once took a bike, a lipstick, and a nail polish to a painter.
Told him to match it.
Peaches and cream, she called it. It was a gorgeous girl bike.
Peaches, coral, potato, potahto.....

I don't think the 'peaches and cream' combo looks bad....

I want something subdued, not glaring.
Orange and red are too bright.

When/if I repaint, I'll prob get some pinstriping done. With the black, I'll prob do some gray and white tones with a bit of blue or red to break it up.

Followed up on a pinstriper referral I found on the H.A.M.B. (http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/)
Looked at samples of his work. Rode over to his shop yesterday and bounced some of what I want done offa him.
We had a nice chat.
Been scourin' the interwebs for more definitive themes. Got two or three good ones.
Now the planets and stuff gotta align......

I can paint pin stripes.
