I've just gotten off the phone with a GOD of a tech at vbulletin and I think we have all of the 404 issues, PM links, email links, etc. fixed.

Please let me know if you are still having problems with anything. We now have 30 days of phone support and it should be relatively easy to fix anything.

We, at this moment, have been given a HEALTHY rating by vbulletin.

Can you do something about the cockroach infestation? I mean you turn on the light and the gAZINTa's are scurrying for cover like a bunch of cockroaches.

Orkin can take care of it I bet....

You need to go do this now, whether you're having problems or not, because it has the potential to cause problems for others, too.

if a nondoof/gazinta may put something on the wish list.....

i have all my pics stored as jpegs in my documents picture folders...and when i post all i can do is a thumbnail...some sites when i post will increase the size automatically...(sorry i'm not real net wizard) but i did try a few things and not getting anywhere...assume those that post and get the thumbnail size have the same deal..

example ...this size...

I tried to find an automatic way to do this, but can't find one.

after you upload your picture in the upload manager, click on it. It will appear in a new window. Copy the URL address of the full size picture in the new window and then, in the body of your post, click on the little icon with the mountain on it. A little window will pop up. Paste the URL address that you copied in there... hit okay... and it will appear as a full size pic in your post.

The code looks like this:

Your URL here

If you havent already, get familiar with vbulletin.org.

I think there is a simple template modification that will do what you are talking about - the feature is called inline images in the options section, but its not 100% doof proof - and there are a few different (security) settings you need to turn off. Get with jelsoft before your phone support runs out if you really want to do this right.

It looks like you have changed the size of the thumbnails, but you can actually have it automatically make the attached images appear like you want.

If I set the thumbnails to off, then they appear full size, but they are all jumbled up in the attached images area rather than separated by a carriage return. I'd like them to all appear as a single row from top to bottom.

I know vbulletin.org... I'll check it out.

thanks,

If I remember when I get home I'll look at the showthread bits, you can easily take out the carriage returns and PM you the code to fix it (if you dont find it somewhere else). It's a very easy fix.

Speaking of GaZintas,,,anyone else notice how quiet they have been today?

Ever since Mega/Boss added the :Pete: livestock I haven't heard hardly any of their high squeaky voices .....

They must still be hung over after their drunken orgy of celebrating the defection of <infiltrators we sent over> timr8 and Popeye.

Just got another CPU usage suspension.

Not sure who your WHP is, but I use www.webintellects.com and have been quite happy with them (for several years).

Im really surpised that vbulletin isnt screaming that there is too much activity and throttling back instead of the server itself.

vbulletin is without a doubt the most efficient forum software.
