Anyone belong to this? Thought I start a thread so we can congratulate our milestones...
I joined when I took possession, I had 5 miles on the odometer. I put 450 between x-mas the end of March. Put over 100 going to get a cup of coffee in Kenosha.

So how does it work?? Lil Rascal and I average around 350-500 miles every weekend......weather permitting.
You sign up, at a dealer, they certify the mileage, fax it in for you, and then every time you pass a milestone you get a pin rocker. 10,000, 25,000, and so on.
I made Zaray do mine while I was looking for chaps that didnt make my ass look big. I dont do paperwork.

I would have liked that 250K rocker.

Which I find quite amazing.
No offense Al, but your bike just doesn't look too comfortable to me.
Now granted I have a couch on wheels, but still.....
My hat's off to ya....seriously

Yeah, I got it and will probably get my first rocker soon. How does that work when you have three bikes?

I think the form has multiple bikes on it. You could do 3,333 1/3 on each and it would count for the 10K.

My bike, brand new, and it took 6 weeks to get the hog membership. So I had over 1,000 miles on it. Brought it to the dealer and tried to get the guy to start it at zero. He refused.
I wasn't going to lose my first 1K so I took the form home, forged it, and mailed it in with 102 miles on it.

Are we really going to start this over here?
Maybe we could all measure our peckers while we're at it...

Well, I ain't gonna measure my pecker, cause I ain't got a micrometer handy, but if I was to have registered my first Harley, I'd be gettin near the 60,000 mile patch/pin. As it is, I'm a little overdue to mail in my 40,000 mile paperwork.

honestly who gives a chit.....you bought it, do what the hell you want with it. if you want some piece of garage jewelry than so be it. me personally i ride the snot out of mine. no, i don't need to get the last Nth of HP and TQ out of the motor, what i want is a reliable, fun ride. so if you think that a huge motor, with massive lift cams, and plated cylinders is going to out last what i'm rolling around on, then that's just fine.....i'll wave as i ride by.

sorry for the rant i'm still a bit torqued from a phone conversation i had the other day. i called a well known builder and was asking him if he had a set of 203 cams and he went off on me and told me i was stupid for wanting that and then proceded to get nice and loud and tell me that the products that he sells are far superior to what i was asking about. he wouldn't even let me tell him why i was looking for that particular set of cams. it was prety much a one sided conversation, and the loss of a potential customer. FUK HIM!!

I have only been a HOG member for two years. One year for each bike I bought. Why would I care to get a pin for the miles. For me it is the quality of the miles not the total number of miles. Living in the middle of a big city with over 40 miles of concrete in 3 directions just to find country, I do not ride every day. My bikes may sit for weeks without being ridden.
I have only ridden seriously for 28 days this year, but I have logged over 8k miles and been through 6 big states. TX, OK, CO, NM, AZ, CA
To me it is not worth it to ride around in the city. I find no pleasure in it.
