Woo hoo, got my Corbin today. The seat itself appears to be very well made. I went with the elephant pattern leather on the seat and vinyl on the sides.
As most will say, the seat is firm. But I would not say inordinately so. I only had time to do about 40 miles this evening, but am impressed so far. One almost problem was my PCIII. The seat just barely goes on due to the power commander being there. But it did go on.
Love the look it gave the Fatboy. I'll post pics tomorrow.

I have both a classic and a hollywood solo for my Road King. I usually run w/ the hollywood but have the classic if I need the p-pad on. Both are great seats and really fit the bike nice. Good luck w/ yours!

Anyone using a CCS for long distances?
Yes, I have one and use the Touring Pillion for the AP. I've put 750 mile days on it. About as good as it gets.

I've done 900 in a day on my Corbin Classic Solo... with stops every 120 miles or so for gas and a stretch.
Talk to Gus at the Hollister branch... he'll custom make your seat without extra charge. I had mine dished out a bit, had the nose narrowed, and had the back brought forward about an inch.
I wouldn't order the studs... they can't seem to get them on straight.

Custom seats make a huge difference, even an inch forward, back, higher, lower, whatever you need. the better foams are great too. Makes long rides seem like nothing at all.

I did a thousand miles in 17 hours on my Corbin solo classic and the only thing that wasn't killing me was my ass.

BigMike,
I have a Road King Custom with the solo seat on it. I'm 6'3 and was way too forward on the stock seat. The Corbin moved me back almost 2 inches and is very comfortable. If you have a Custom dash on your RK the seat for the Custom should fit.
Call Corbin in Florida. The customer service in CA sucks and are rude while they're sucking. I love my seat, but when it arrived the keys were bent. The package they were in had gotten wedged in something and bent both keys about 45*. I was able to bend them back but was afraid they might eventually break so I called CS in CA. The guy all but called me a liar and after reluctantly agreeing to send me a new set, hug up on me. I never got those keys. (what? 50 cents for the keys and a buck postage?) But I did get a set from Florida. I put on the warranty registration comment that the keys were bent. Didn't ask for replacement since I had called CA. I got an email the next day from FL referencing the comment and keys the day after that.

Corbin's RAAWK! (customer service sucks a wee bit though)
I have the Road King Hollywood Solo saddle. I've been told that the RK Classic solo is way more comfortable. Hard to believe that could be possible?

I have both the Hollywood and the Classic and find them both extremely comfortable. For long rides I do have to give the nod to the Classic, but I really like the seating position I get with the Hollywood.

Do you know who would have a seat that pushes you forward? Since Billy got his Ultra I am riding the Heritage now and sure would like to be a little more forward on it.....

I also had my stock seat rebuilt by Mean City Cycles. They did a great job of moving me where I needed to go and making the seat much more comfortable. They can move you a pretty good bit in any direction if the seat pan allows. They take appointments and you send your seat so as to arrive the day before. They turn it around in a day so you are not without a seat for more than 3 or 4 days. Good folks to work with.
