Nice. What did you do with the wide glide. You went from a glide to a king. I'm still partial to glides. :roflback:

Damn, another Road King owner. What's this world coming to. Don't you boys know the Electra Glide is the real Bagger. Just ask Rock, he will tell you.
By the way, nice looking bike.

Wild1 Chubby 515's, 10", similar to stock WideGlide specs. Real comfy.

I'm with 8 on that saddle. It may work for you, but I GUARANTEE your chickie will hate it.

Thanks, I gotta take some better pics. That color in the sun, the mag wheels with the chrome trim, etc., man I just love the look. Even the stock seat is pretty comfy.
And, I can tuck my tail in that little backrest slot, no flapping around in the wind!

Yes Mr. Rock, I had a Glide (like you) and now I have a King, King as in "master of all". I know you have a really cool killer nice Glide, but I have moved to King status. :Poke:

Maybe that cool crisp air out in Pa. has got you kapiichelated, ya know, you're running too lean. Where abouts is NW, Pa. anyway, north, south, etc. :sofa:

So what did you do with the bike, that you built the hell out of, and then decided it wasn't comfortable?

Traded it in towards the new FLHRS, problem with my butt & had to get an easier ride. Damn, that 103 FXDWG was killer, just could not keep it, plus too much money spent to have two cool bikes.

Craner..
Congratulations on the new King Custom. Very nice. Just curious, did you try the bars that come stock with the custom (beach bars) at all before changing to the 515's? Love W/O Chubby bars..what made you decide on the 515's.
If you can only affort one bike (like me) you can't go wrong with a Road King...
Congrats!!!

Hey Chromer.
Well, I have neck problems for years, so the Beach Bars would have me stretching & straining, and as I found my FXDWG very comfy I got the 515's since that was close to the FXDWG bar, just a nicer piece.
Thanks for the kind words. Now I just need Jersey to get out of the 30's, terrible with the wind & dampness, I need sun.
