Ok...I've had a change of heart...

Here's my story...My first motorized ride:
15 yrs old...1981 ***** PA 50 bought it for $50...rode it like a dirt bike (however, it only went 25MPH) biggest POS ever, all my friends made fun of it (and so did I, but I didn't care)...

Next ride...My first car...a bigger POS...1975 Caddy Coupe DeVille, 500ci V8...Black, or should I say spray paint black...all rusted out, had a really bad case of the run-ons...similar to this...

I beat the hell out of that for a few years, then sold it to someone who was going to use it in a demolition derby...I believe he won with it too. Once again, all my friends made fun of it (and so did I, but I still didn't care).

Next up...My first actual motorcycle was not until 1992, it was a 1983 Kawasaki LTD550 that was a hand-me down from my uncle. He had bought it new, rode it for about 4 years, and then had it stored in a crappy shed until he gave it to me in 1992 (with gas still in the tank - no stabil:badmood:, the thing must have had an 1" of dirt/dust on it too). $500 later, I finally got it running. I rode the piss out of that thing, then traded it in for a 1986 Suzuki Madura 700.

I rode that until I got married in '97, then sold it to my brother-in-law...it was a sad, sad, day. I didn't want to get rid of it, but I had to (not because of the wife, but for other reasons...she used to love going for rides with me in college).

Fast forward to November of 2004...student loans paid off, I got a steady job, lots of research had been done on what I wanted...and I now own my first REAL bike...my 2005 Black FXDi.
