The riding season is short...but it offers some great roads. Do any of you Doofs ever make it up here? If so, drop me a PM.

hey cdouthit,
That offer works both ways, southwest wi. is very twisty, hilly, steep valleys and taverns at every crossroad. if one would require refreshment. the ludington ferry is something i have never done. is that near your area? the wisconsin terminal is manitowoc, about 3 hour ride from here. i hear it is way cool. just sayin, ridin ferrys isnt rockat surgery ya know. (not that kind of ferry!)

I've been wanting to play that par 3 course up there, Three Trees Resort or something? Got any clubs I can borrow?

I'm sure we can work something out...
There's something like 100 courses within a 75 mi radius of my house...or so I'm told. I usually just play at Mistwood (http://www.mistwoodgolf.com/) (it's right around the corner from my house.)

So how do I mount the clubs on the back of my bike? (I'm totally serious here!)

Three Trees Resort or something?

Treetops. In Gaylord, about 70 miles northeast of Traverse City.

There are 5 courses, designed by 3 architects...

The par 3 is Threetops, designed by Rick Smith

This is their site... (http://http://www.treetops.com/index.php?method=golf&subpage=allcourses)

I found these golf cart racks - the hitch is the expensive part.

I guess brake lights might be important...
