How would you feel if your friends caught you?
IMO a bagger is best choise for 2-1, atleast for cosmetic reasons, the bags will distract from it.
Though, there people that like them.
What if my friends caught me with what? A false left pipe?
After I tell them, it seems to roll into pretty good palor jokes. Of which I enjoy returning with a few more jokes. The power the pipes produce with a mild build usually stops the jokes. A 2:1 on a bagger with no left side looks like a testical missing do the symmetry of the saddle bags.

More room in my shorts with the left side missing. Oh you mean exhaust systems.

It might be a great place to transport a fishing pole, if you're into that sort of thing!
:dinghy7:
...maybe a baseball bat for those times you run into those other Bikers!

I dunno guys. I may get the 2 into 1 D&D Fat Cat on my bagger for performance reasons. I think it just makes a bagger look bad with one pipe stickin out the back, though. It just does. If I do get the Fat Cat, I think I will also get the falsie.
In particular, I do like Gray's idea about using the falsie as a beer cooler. Hmmm,... now that could look interesting with the right pipe giving off heat waves, and the left pipe sweating from the ice inside?

Does a 2:1 really make that big a difference in power?

Just out of curiosity, how many tailpipes does your cage have?

If I lose a pipe, I can gain a few pounds, and bike will perform the same.

Nice.
It's a Pro-Pipe.
That's what the Pros use.
They'd know...that's why they're the Pros!!!! I've got one too and love it!!!!!

To me having 2-1, is kinda like a screw you. Your serious about power. I saw one last year, I like. You could really see the engine. Opened up the area behind rear cylidner.
For me I worried a little about sound. Never heard one at idle. Also want to know if it makes that much more power over slip ons.

its... its just unnatural...

A couple of cherry bombs, gravel and packing could make it into a functional rear cannon for use against tailgaters.
Catching up:

It's the way to go man in my opinion. Best of both worlds. 2:1 performance with the traditional bagger "dual" look. :verycool:
dirtydan:
Most of what I know about motorcycle power I learned from the techs on the "other" site. They always pushed the 2:1 for backpressure and torque. They showed Dyno's and what not as well. I figure if I build up my engine anymore, atleast I already have a good exhaust on. I just couldn't stand the left side missing.
Luke:
The cage has true duals. No, seriously it does. :roflback:
TxChop:
The bike isn't ugly. EGlides grab my eye regardless. I think the two bags and the one pipe coming out of the side is what gets me.
To all my true dual friends...and foes I guess.

Using the left pipe as a spud gun for tailgaiting cagers is a possibility too.
I can hear the pissed off cager now,... "that damn loud assed Harley in front of me backfired and shot something out its exhaust pipe,... friggen bikers. Why can't they keep their damned bikes tuned up like the ***** riders."
I'll start work on the prototype ASAP.

More low end power!

Does a 2:1 really make that big a difference in power?
Oh hell yes. If you can find someone to explain it to you in a simple way what you'll find is that it has to do with using the "free energy" of exhaust pulses to scavenge the opposite cylinder, and increase flow velocity of the incoming charge.
