This stuff is suppose to remove adhesive residue and such. Anyone use it before, and if so where is it available?
Any recommendations for any like items??
Thanks

Goo Gone is mild.
Goof Off is like a latex paint remover, and I only use it for removing shoe/boot leavings from my pipes.
Works good for that.
Most any place that sells house paint should have it.

It is a potent solvent. Home Depot would have it.
Rubbing alcohol would clean almost as much stuff.
If you are just removing old rubbery, gummy adhesive...WD40 works well.

Don't use Goof Off on anything that you don't want ruined!!!... okay maybe chrome. Test it first (on someone else's bike)...
GooGone is the way to go for most everything. Home Depot and Lowes carry it.

Thanks guys.
Just want something to remove left over adhesive when I remove the reflectors from the frame of my new bike.
Oh, and I don't want to work too hard to do it....

Try WD40 on a cloth. This works for sure.

Yep. WD-40 is a lousy lubricant, but it works well in other ways.
The master gunsmith at Beretta USA threatened to come to my house and beat knots in my head if I ever touched one of "his" shotguns with WD-40. :roflback: I assured him I only used the stuff to coat the inside of the barrel after a cleaning, and never on the action, but he still ordered me to put the WD-40 can down and step away slowly. :roflback:
