Mercury Vapor light that doesn't come on at dusk when it's raining hard, or when it's snowing...but not all the time...

Isn't there an adjustment on those things to control how dark it needs to be outside before it turns on?

Maybe the rain and snow, under the right light conditions, is affecting it enough to cause that to happen.

Just my two bit guess.

looked out about Midnight, and it was on...

The last couple of ones I played with did not have an adjustment.
All solid state.
Don't know if cleaning the plastic lens might help.
As long as the sensor "sees light", it won't come on.
don't know why the rain would make it not come on.

Yep, if I had a nickel for every time I've heard of moisture not letting enough dark in for something to work...:roflback:
