This is Doug.

Doug is in the U.S. Marine Corps.
:USA:
Even though Doug's bike is in the shop, Doug is happy.
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w169/TimmyD_album/Happy_Dougie_02.jpg?t=1177820404
Doug is happy because SLOWHOUND loaned him a bike so that Doug could make a '43 Run.'
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w169/TimmyD_album/Happy_Dougie_01.jpg?t=1177820546
Is Doug happy because he has a bike to ride for the 43 Run, or is he happy because for over 200 miles people saw these on the bike that he rode:
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w169/TimmyD_album/USAF_Logo.jpg?t=1177821168
And
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w169/TimmyD_album/Happy_Dougie_03.jpg?t=1177821220
Doug was able to make the 43 Run...
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w169/TimmyD_album/Dougie_43_01.jpg?t=1177821313
...so Doug is happy.
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w169/TimmyD_album/Happy_Dougie_02.jpg?t=1177821800
Now (being an Air Force vet), I know that we are referred to a 'wingnuts', and 'zoomies'. I know that Marines are referred to as 'grunts' and 'devildogs'. I think Doug's Doof name should be 'ZoomieDog'
What do ya think?

WTG Doug!
true story: When I was in the Navy a buddy and I were playing pool with 2 marines. In the middle of the game one of the marines called me a squid.
I asked him "do you know what a squid really is?"
he said "what?"
I replied "a squid lives, eats, and shits on marine life!"
They laughed, I continued to live...

Hmmm...
ol' ZoomieDog :roflback: don't know where I live...but I ain't scared, I married a gal who after we were married for 5 years, went into the Marines.
I guess going thru Marine basic training is a snap compared to being married to me.
Of course, ZoomieDog fits Doug pretty good...have ya ever rode with him? He zooms.

Glad I could give you all a laugh at my expense...that explains the low balance in the bank account I suppose.

...has ever told me that I am balanced...
...unstable..yes.
...and ZoomieDog, we all gotta get together before you PCS for your recruiting duties to create SoCA Delinquents.

We'll have some sort of ride before I leave, not sure if an overnighter is possible with the kids and all but we'll come up with something. I'll be on my own scoot next time so I ought to zoom right up to the front of the pack unless some are not to fond of Copenhagen showers....

When I was attached to Tarawa, you couldn't walk through the hangar without stepping over a Marine.
We called them "Door stops".
"Jar Head" comes to mind, but I save that for my favorite cousin.
Good on ya Doug!!
