No you don't talk to much Popeye. We all like your posts. What you said is very true, but I disagree with one point.

Mega, Gray, 8, if you are reading this one, here are my thoughts.

First off I sent out our address to some pretty good people over there. Now that address does not work. So when they try it they will get the 404 error.
That is not good. I don't know if I can fix it as I have had to clean out a bunch of PM's with questions after Carrie took her shots at me.

Second: I don't see anyone here saying they are off VTF or even they will not renew when their time comes. I like to think maybe D.P. and his Mods. would be happy that we are all still members there and most of us will pay up our dues when the time comes. All we have done is taken a load off of them. They will not have to worry about the people on line that disliked us so very much. We have given them their win and yet it was us who really won. What would be wrong with posting up our correct address with a note saying these things? That we are still around and will post more in time, but we need to build this home first. We thank them for helping us build our club and the patience the have had to show us at times. We respect what they are doing and we hope with moving the Doofs away from the VTF that they will not have to be hearing members cry about us.

It seems to me it would be the best of both worlds for VTF. That's the way I see it. I will not ask for a poll or a vote, but will leave it to the 3 of you to make the call.

If you don't pick up this note I just wasted a bunch of time hunh?:D

I agree with you though, Jeb. I still visit over there, and I believe our now posting here lessens the likelyhood of stirring up any resentment or whatever it was that was brewing over there.

The e-mail I got to this had 2 addresses. It said that the one would be no good and the second one was to work in a day or so. Jeb, did you try that one? I for one will still check in there from time to time or if I have a tech question, but it will never be the same...

What would be wrong with posting up our correct address with a note saying these things? It will get out soon enough. If we post it openly my instincts tell me Mega, Gray and 8 would have a lot of additional admin work on their hands as the "carrie" sign on's won't be a joke

RK I agree with you.On what will happen over there with out us.I just read the biker forum thread over there.28 pages before DP locked it.It was trash.I like to joke,cuss and carry on but that was way over the line.I think if the Doofs were there that thread would not have gone that far.we would have joked it up and they might not have gone so far.
the mod's were what got to me the most.pete logan said it's his thread and told the other mod's to leave it alone.he let all the cussing go and said the N WORD him self.and to quote him[This forum will go the way that the members want it to go]looks like a change for the worst to me...........

I agree with you both.... GeezerGlide composed a draft for a mission statement in terms of how we conduct ourselves around here and your points, in addition, are well taken... It is the announcement at the top of every forum here... Please read it... I added a little here and there as well.

Guys, I e-mailed D Price last night to let him know what was going on and to invite him to stop by. No need for animosity, each place is what it is, and we owe a lot to VTF. Posting a link to here over there is not cool, but letting a fellow Doof know where we are via PM or e-mail ain't rocket surgery, is it?
