the reality is, we need to do a little introspection. There have been some posts here the last couple of days regarding VTF and specifically a couple of threads and one in specific.

First, when I'm here in our clubhouse, I don't give a rat's azz about what's going on at VTF.

Second, the references to us in that thread have been minor, until we wandered in. They were doing nothing more than we've doing, BS'n with some buds. This time it was us that poked our noses where they didn't neccessarily belong. Something we often complained about over in the cellar. Again, I don't give a rat's azz what people I don't associate with or care about have to say about me. As a saying from the Viet Nam era went, "Don't mean nothin".

Third, some of those guys in that thread posted sincere condolences in the Im Memory Of thread about my brother. Since my sig is still pretty clear about who I am and what I represent, well, the gesture speaks for itself.

Finally, this is my last post in the DC forum regarding this issue. I hope it will be the last, period.

Thanks.........it's actually a sunrise! Taken by my wife on the St. Marys river where it comes out on the intercoastal waterway here in GA. We were headin' out to do some fishing a couple of years ago.....sometime in early spring. It was about a twenty minute ride up the waterways from my dad-in-law's house to the mouth of the river, and the wife snapped shots the whole way as the sun was coming up......I believe this was the best of the bunch. I still use it as my desktop background. :D

I agree with Scabs.

They had a right to run things the way they wanted over there. We had the right to stay or move on. We moved on...

However, I moved on with a clear conscience and without burning a bridge. I will stop over at VTF frequently to get answers to keep my bike going. Hopefully, with time, we will get some tech posters over here and the need to back to VTF will diminish...

Some of us got out of control over there and they have a right to celebrate our good riddance; much the same way I celebrate the freedom we have here now.

So as Scabs so eloquently said already, "it ain't nothing"...

We have better things to do than play in negativity.

The way I see it, we both won... celebrate that.

It is only natural to worry about the forum that spawned the Doofs. I got a lot of good info there and want it to continue to have good info and HONEST sponsers. It is hard enough to do surgery to our babies, we want good info before changing things.
