Softbrake relocate bracket, laydown lens, and Blue Glass reflectors in rear crossbar. About $70 and much cleaner look.

Is that J&P's lens and are you using a stock bulb?

Yes, J&P Laydown lens and the stock bulb. No problem with heat / melting plastic even though bulb is closer to lens end than I would prefer. But, out in 100 degree heat, stop & go, and it is fine.

Thanks. I've been trying just about every LED bulb they make...they're all crap. :badmood: Talked to Heavycycles but they don't seem to be in a hurry to make another one like 8's (i.e. laydown with license illumination at bottom). Think I'll give the stock bulb a chance...

Well, like I said, mine has been on for some time, brake light on, sitting in bigtime heat in traffic on hot summer says, not a hint of stock bulb messing up lens. And, 07 stock bulb is not like the old bulbs, different base. My "cheap" set-up seems fine.
I think my rearend is now is as pretty as my head.........:coffee:

Not slimy, he has a shirt that says 'Caution, slippery when wet", chicks get real squirrely over that.
