I postrd last night bragging on how this site is faster than the Brand X site, but it's definitely slower tonight.

I'm on dialup and will remain so 'til the subsidy checks start coming thru.

Sorry to report, things are slow tonight. Server issue's most likely cause. You will get it right, I have faith.

I sure have to go along way to get to you. I'm sure I pass a couple 43 signs along the way...

I have about 5 (yes 5) computers in my home, both Mac and PC. What I have noticed is that Internet Explorer 7.0 is having difficulty building the web pages associated with the software used for these forums.
The Macs have no problems (Safari and Netscape), but ALL the PC's have problems using Internet Explorer 7.0. I have installed Firefox on all the PCs and they all work much better for the Forums.

The problem...

I can enter the forum with no problem, but if I try to navigate through the threads, IE will freeze trying to load the page (like a stalled internet connection). It happens on both of my laptops running IE 7.0, but does not happen with my Desktop PC running IE 6.0.

Solution (for now) install Firefox for the Forums. It works well, and can be used with Internet Explorer without problems.

Plus it has this really cool spell check feature I am digging...

One thing that slows IE7 down a lot is that Phish filter........ shut it down when coming to sites like this that you know are cool.....

cause you wouldn't want to slow down everybody else, right?
