They look great; how does it sound with the mufflers in there? I know a guy w/ a 72 FLH who runs straight pipes with fishtail ends and they DO NOT sound good at all, unless you just plain like loud.

Kind of a nice low throaty rumble. Not real obnoxious at all. I love the sound.

Still has an inspection cover, so I'm thinkin' that's a "no".

Dual fishtails = curb finders, bank angle sensor. That set is already broken in for the bank angle part. The bottoms have been ground off around 3/8-inch or so. I told Tom to be ready for it so it wouldn't surprise him.

There is increased chance of hearing a little 'ching', in fact heard it once on the ride home. But, as good as they look (and sound), I'll give up a little lean.

Nice Pipes! Is the bike an '07' ?

It's on '06.

Want to thank everyone for the great comments. However, it must be acknowledged that my scoot would not look or sound as good as it does now if it wasn't for the generosity and help of vafatboy (aka Warren). He is an excellent example of the true spirit of a "brother rider" and the spirit of the DC forum.

You're very welcome Tom. I'm glad to have been able to help, really! They were in the basement collecting dust and your scoot was "begging" for some exhaust.

The cool thing is they look really good on your Deluxe. Now.... you do know that you've got to get some bags on there.....:whistling:
