The DTV people are coming today to install DTV in my home. My question is should I go with the standard basic install, or get HD?

Well at first I thought the answer's obvious - HD of course. Duh. But then I got to thinking... Can you afford all the accessories that you'll need to actually make it usable? And then there's all the t-shirts you'll have to buy. I guess it just depends on your financial situation.

And perhaps most importantly, can you work on it yourself? If not, all the other "real" couch potatoes will mock you.

Just shot commercial and/or training video for Direct TV...think about it.
Not kidding - put in over 13 hour day.

They have a new option....NFL thing...it includes a bunch of movie stuff.
Really good price for the first three months...after that...don't know.

I'm very happy with my HD reception. There are a lot of other options and that could drive the cost up-Dam HD!

Just don't get the input and the output cables confused.
It'll change channels real slow and you won't be able to turn the volume all the way up.

Once you watch in HD, you not want to go back.
