Gauge Colors

Does anyone know if there is a place I can get my gauges and radio lighting changed to blue? bluegauges.com said they don't do radios. I would like to have them done by the same place so they match.

Joe told me once that the red in the radio face is just a colored film. Find a blue one and replace it. Sounds easy, I wonder if it is? Hmmm........

The pre-06 radios (non Harmon-Kardon) displays look red when off... that's the red film inside the display. there are still red LEDs to light up the display, and a bunch more for the buttons. The film needs to be removed and the red LEDs need to be swapped out for blue. The '06-up H-K radios do not have that film, so they look plain old LCD silver when off.

Both can be changed to blue, amber, green, or white.

Thanks for the reply Dr. Now I just need to find a place to send my radio to that I can trust. I would try it myself but I would hate to have to buy a new one when I break it.
