I have considered bars to be one of the most difficult subjects to get info about, because it is so subjective. One mans junk is anothers treasure.

I hate Heritage bars. Mine are pulled back probably 45*. It honks up the looks, but fits much better.

I would like something like buckhorn pullbacks. Lower than Heritage bars, and with more drop (rotation) in the grips. Road Kings are close, but still not perfect.

I also think that $600 for a bar swap is ridiculous.

The one at the corner of 6th and Broadway is pretty neat with lots of fern and flowers.

Happy Hour 6 to 9

$2 beer on Tuesday night.

On a serious note I agree and have been wanting to change mine as well but have not been able to determine what will work best. I have a difficult time trying to figure out how height and pullback interplay. Keep hoping somewhere I'll run into a bike with something that feels just right. Some of the pullback bars seem to put your wrist at an uncomfortable angle while some of the wider bars with the correct wrist angle just don't have enough pullback.

To bad you can't try them out before you spend the money. Guess it is like seats: Some have a Corbin butt and others have a Mustang butt.
