How long before the 1200 is replaced with the 96" TC? Maybe that'll replace the 883 and the 1200 will become the 103...just pondering seeing the current lineup.

They haven't even given the Sportster an 80" EVO yet.....

The Dyna was the big boy grown up sportster, with the big twin engine.

Larger frame.


More load capacity.

It is still the entry point for a lot of riders no matter what MOCO decides to do.

There's a web page somewhere about a guy who put TC88 guts and top end on a Sporty. He had to cut big reliefs in the pistons to keep them from slamming into each other at the bottom pf the stroke. Making a purpose-built bigger engine and trying to retain the generally diminutive Sportster chassis size would likely result in a compromise called a Dyna.

Because MOCO was long overdue to spend way to much building a butt ugly model that no one wanted to ride........:Poke:

But... they said it would get you loads of Swedish bikini models if you rode one...:doh:
