Corbin It Is....

Order is in, 2-3 weeks to fill the order and $111 in shipping

Dual Tour, black leather, gold diamond stitching, ovalbac rest and a matching ovalbac trunk pad....
Tired of the soft compressed seats, been running the firmer little CVO seat this year and Autumn and I both find it is no worse than the plush sofa. The Corbin should be a leg up on the stock saddle, and it will be very nice to have a back rest again. Hopefully have a Hammock and Ultra saddle for sale in a month.... :DD

Is the ultra seat a tall or short one? What year?

DAK47 06-24-2014 10:34 PM

It was on the Dogfish, which is a '12 and it's a regular height one. Home on July 4th, can take a pic then....

On the bottom of the pan, it may say short, not so sure if it says tall for tall.

MegaGlide 06-25-2014 05:18 AM

It may say low. I doubt even Harley's marketing geniuses would mark a seat for their inseam challenged customers "short". :RR

Maybe "petite"?

MrSurly 06-25-2014 06:50 AM

"Reach"

First 400 miles under our ass.....
So far on the positive and I think only to get better. The DualTour is at least 3-4 heavier that the Ultra or Hammock seat, must be the dense style foam or whatever and a sturdy as hell pan....

When Autumn dropped her ass down on the pillion, she was like "whoa, this seat has no give" but in our inaugural 409 mile blast, no complaints when we where done. I love having a backrest again and my only thing is the edges of the seat are pretty stiff on the underside of my legs, but I'm sure that will break in with a couple thousand miles along with the ass pockets.... Didn't have time to get the tour-pak backrest bolted up, as I have to drill a couple holes, that will tie the whole look together. :DD

Overall, nice workmanship, love having leather and a backrest that removes with the seat, for running the solo... Seat that Harley should be putting on our bikes to begin with for the price of them....

Yes they do have a nice steel seat pan.

Maybe the seat edges was what was making my legs and butt go numb?

Corbin .... uh huh ...... edges of the seat .... stiff, uh huh, uh huh .......... soften up in a couple thousand miles NOPE ...... azz pockets break in, yup, but still remains SOLID FIRM

I have a Corbin on the FXR4 and have about 45 thousand miles in that saddle ... I LOVE THAT SADDLE !!!!

HOWEVER the edges are just as hard/firm as they were the day I put it on the bike ....
for me, the only time that becomes even the slightest bit noticabe is when moving the bike with my legs.... ie manual parking ... once the bike is under way the underside of my legs don't seem to really touch that leading outside edge ....

I'm VERY serious about putting a Corbin Dual Tour on O Baby (yep, that would be our new 2014 Ultra Limited ) :D
