63-64-65 Plymouth Valiant Convertible

Will consider a Signet or Barracuda.

V8 preferable, but for right car slant 6 ok.

Looking for close to original as possible and complete.

Ange are looking for one to restore, or one that is done?

Dodge Slant Six is one of the best engines ever built.

That's all my Grandfather drove, slant 6 Valiants. Lots of good memories there.

Damn...I had a '64 1/2 Plymouth Valiant Signet GT...same car as the 'cuda without the long glass...bucket seats, 4 speed, 273 V8...sigh...I miss that car!!! Had a '65 Dart with a slant 6 that had 300k+ on the clock (speedo broke at 280k) and it still ran like a top when I sold it!!! The 318 was a great engine too!

Jonas, yeah i'm looking for a good restorer. Trying to find one that drives and just use for a while till i get around to the resto.
Must have a fairly rust free body, that's where Cali or nevada...actually any State that's fairly dry comes in.

edit: The beauty is, that we had the same cars here, 4 doors, Chrysler Valiant built in Adelaide. So a RHD conversion will be a piece of piss, not that i'd have to cause pre'75 we can leave LHD.

Cool, I will keep my eyes out. I searched local craigslist and got one hit. Not convertable, but priced right. Just needs a little work.:roflback: Looks pretty solid. I least I know what they look like now.
