OK...Now What?

A friend of mine gave me this cedar humidor. Her husband stopped smoking cigars a few years back. I mentioned that I smoke one every now & then and she brought it to work today.
It has 3 fancy cigar lighters and two tubes with sponges in 'em (????). |

I'm sure Mega will be along shortly for your education. |
Mega is just going to point out which one of about 30 different threads relating to this subject he can read.

I think I can find a hygrometer and the other stuff at Old Virginian Tobacco Company in Manassas. I'll pick up a few cigars too (I do have a waterproof travel case I bought about a month ago). ...as for you mockers... :pfft::pfft: |
Stay away from the brick and mortar stores.....those places are like highway robbery. amazon.com for your hygrometer, cigarsprintsale.com, cigarsinternational.com, and cigar.com for your purchases. Well those and Mega when he starts doing his street corner pusher gig, which is about once a month. In Mega's defense he knows his good smokes.....never got a bad one from him yet.

Found a digital hydrometer for $25, a humidifier for the humidor for $15, a humidifier for my traveler for $10.
Now I just need the humidor to stabilize to 70 RH (currently at 63) before I can use it. So far, no rabbit hole. |
I've caught malware from some of the Amazon off their site cigar stuff links.

So, whatcha gonna put in that box, Timmy? :coffee:
