Is a 2005 movie with Anthony Hopkins as, real life motorcycle racer Burt Munro. Monro, travels from his homeland in New Zealand to the Bonneville Salt flats to try and set the land speed record for a motorcycle under 1000cc., on his 1920 Indian.

I really enjoyed this one. Munro's shop reminded me of the old days when many parts and repairs were custom engineered and fabricated. The character also reminded me of some of the old motorcycle guys that I've known, through the years.

Good movie.

Definitely a DVD purchase for me, I really enjoyed it...

Reality is not movies. Enjoyed Hopkins.

I bought the movie last year and watch it all the time. Love it.

Yep.. Good one...I like how he took care of his lawn before he left for the U.S

I also liked how he taught the next door neighbor's boy to "take care" of his lemon tree (I think it was a lemon tree, right?) :roflback:

I actually had the pleasure of forum interaction with Munro's son on the IMDB boards of the film.

He told me the motel clerk was real, and Hopkins pretty much nailed his dad with his performance.

Good movie. I enjoyed it. Have it on DVD and watch it often.
