The World's Fastest Indian
Is a 2005 movie with Anthony Hopkins as, real life motorcycle racer Burt Munro. Monro, travels from his homeland in New Zealand to the Bonneville Salt flats to try and set the land speed record for a motorcycle under 1000cc., on his 1920 Indian.
I really enjoyed this one. Munro's shop reminded me of the old days when many parts and repairs were custom engineered and fabricated. The character also reminded me of some of the old motorcycle guys that I've known, through the years. |
Good movie.
