Found while cleaning...........

I finally got around to washing DaSkoot today. I always perform and electrical check on the bike after I've sprayed it with water. It turned out that my rear fender running/tip light was inop. I took a quick ride over to the dealer in Bedford and bought a replacement bulb. When I got home I popped the red lens off to change the bulb, it was filthy with road grim inside of the red plastic cover and on the chrome reflective surface behind the bulb. After cleaning those items, my rear fender running light is now much brighter.

I need to get out more.

Thanks HD for the lack of an oring to seal the lens to the fixture.

Not only that, they left a slot open big enough to fit a screwdriver in.

Can you cover the slot w/a wad of gum?

It might void the warranty.

Gum has a warranty? Good, cause most of it loses its flavor too quickly.

Chewing gum and Duct Tape......fixes everything.

It's best not to clean it!
