Picked up a new toy today
 

Ruger Security 9. Much nicer than I expected for a pistol that costs $293. Light, slim, and it comes with two 15 round magazines. I'll take it to the cabin this weekend and see how it shoots.

Nice :gun: I was spoiled with an old school Ruger P89D 9mm that shot as well as any Sig I've ever owned. That said, I have put but a mag or two through my new P365. For that price including 2 15rd mags, I can see one of these Security nines in my future. A better option for me to carry on the road due to potential lose and harsh conditions :whistling:

Oh it's a keeper.

I went out and cleared the lake of turtles with it. Surprisingly accurate, and pretty comfortable to shoot. It feels like about half the weight of my Delta Elite on my hip. Though I don't think 15 rounds is enough for a hog, but plenty good enough for patrolling for two legged critters.
