Plugging a tire
I'd recommend the mushroom type plugs (So does Dunlop)

I watched my son use one of these on a truck tire. Remarkable.

That would get my vote.

I blew out a tire last week. Even duct tape and baling wire couldn't have saved it. $150 for a new one. Ouch. Wish it has been a job for a plug.

If you choose to use the worm type, I've used and trusted Safety Seal for the last 40 plus years https://www.safetyseal.com/
They cover the gamut of patching needs. That said, I'm sporting a cheap little kit from Cycle Gear right now. I want a safety seal kit but the tool handles are rather large and bulky. They will last forever however :whistling: BOB |
