Waugh Industries
Gonna be gone as of January 13th. They were bought out by the Ted Britt Auto Group, and Don and his wife are retiring. All the museum bikes have been auctioned off, and the showroom's down to about 20 bikes. They've still got a decent selection of P&A stuff and motorclothes.
Don was sitting at his desk reading the paper when we walked in, same as usual. Asked how I'd been and made sure that Katie knew where the coffee and restrooms were. Damn shame to see them go. |
It's sad to see the old time shops closing up

I think the Ted Britt group owns patriot HD too.
Don is a great guy and I'm sad to see him go. The story goes when they told him to build a new boutique style dealership he told them to pound sand. Not sure, but I'd like to think its true. |

Sad to see the old places go away for bling and flash.

We lost my two favorite Indies here over the last year. I pretty much refuse to use the dealership but it is getting harder to find a good shop close. There are two possibilities that I'm checking out.

Ted Britt also owns the Quantico dealership, sad to see them sell. Mr. Waugh will be 83 in a couple weeks, he still rides with the HOG Chapter and plans on staying active and riding more.

Sheehy owns Patriot ,Britt owns Quantico

Bayside Chevy/Toyota guy in Calvert County MD just bought All American HD.
