I approve of this message.

A feller could roll up some miles on those.

DAK47 10-15-2010 01:40 PM

Very nice, but what a leap for some of some of us traditionalists...... but change can be good, serious looking mile eaters.

Cheers,
Dirk

There's a guy here that just bought one. I looked it over pretty good yesterday as I ended up parking my Roadglide next to it.

I like it... but I'm just not a BMW kinda person. It's just not my style and I hear its really hard to pick up the really hot biker babes with a BMW.

The Ultra is nice..

But If I was a two bike garage....I'd go back to riding a softtail and have one of these rigs for some serious touring.

just sayin

I hear having the requisite ramrod installed up your arse is painful.

Parks 10-15-2010 02:17 PM

Talked with a guy in my local club last night who was looking at one of those in desparation. He went to jenni's place and they had RoadGlide Ultras, but they were all spoken for already...like 4 of them. I told him just get them to order what you want...they'll be making more in a crazy money-making scheme.

We have a rather reputable BMW dealer only 3 miles away and I haven't been in there to look at bikes in 5 years.

DaSkip 10-15-2010 06:03 PM

Does that have the new in-line 6 cylinder. That engine has 125 ft/lbs of torque @ 2,000 rpm.

Bone Stockman 10-15-2010 06:36 PM

That, or the next generation, will be Bone's replacement.

Thorns 10-15-2010 09:49 PM

Put some Rinehart's on it, and let me take it for a spin...:roflback:

It's sleek and purdy, but nothin' beats the look of the softail classics.....just sayin!
