Zumo/XM Radio
Anyone using it?
|
I am not. Too cheap to pay for a subscription.
|
I have the Zumo and have XM just not together..
Looked like the XM modual had to be mounted in the fairing or somewhere.. I wanted it to be as portable as the GPS... For the car.... |
I have a plain old SC340 gps and I will also just hook up the xm separately. sorry no help here either
|
I've been watching eBay and Craiglist for the XM module that fits the Zumo 550. I want one but not to the point that I am willing to pay retail :roflback:
|
I am using it Randy.

I still can't figure out how the get the Zumo to play MP3's.
 I've worked on it 10 whole minutes and everything. |
Hmmm, it works just fine for me.
You don't get anything with the Zumo in the cradle and headsets plugged into the audio out port on the cradle? |
It doesn't even appear to see the mp3's.
Once I get that far, I can start worrying about audio. Does it have to be cradled to start seeing the songs? Is it VERY picky about the card it will read from? I used WMP to sync the songs over to the SD card, I can see them on the card, the Zumo doesn't list anything that can be played. |
Mine just worked. I followed the instructions on the Zumo manual and placed the music where it said it needed to be with the SD card installed. Since mine isn't currently functioning I can't check to see if they show up without it being installed in the cradle.
