I've ordered quite a few parts from them. Hope the rumors aren't true and they're keeping their doors open.

Yeah, I sorta wonder about that.

Showroom is stocked with new '14s and there's an ample supply of all the other stuff a Harley dealer sells.

They were taking bikes in for storage last Saturday. There appeared to be a quite a few bikes in the shop waiting for service, as well.

I'd heard a few years ago that the owners were looking to sell. Not sure if the place is still up for sale, tho.

They have a pretty nice building, up to date by today's standards. And it's a relatively convenient location, right off the interstate, halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee.

I guess time will tell........

I read that this morning and thought, "That's good".


I went for a ride and at one of the stops, somebody asked me where Libertyville is.

I found that funny but told him where it was and that you had been talking about them just this morning.

It wasn't until I got home that I realized that I had their shirt on today.

Just one of those weirdies that sometimes happen.

I was referring to their impending bankruptcy.

Dealership's still open. Cars in the lot, stuff going on, as usual.

Figured someone bought 'em due to the inventory stuff, which they extended an extra day.

That dealership, and it's location, is too valuable in the world of MoCo for it not to exist.

It'll be interesting to see who bought it. Wonder if it's the guy (or group) who's been buying up the other Chicagoland dealerships........
